
Eliza Kate Coupe (born April 6, 1981)[1] is an American actor, comedian and model, known for playing Jane Kerkovich-Williams , the character of Jane in the ABC comedy series Happy Endings, Denise "Jo" Mahoney in the final two seasons of the medical comedy-drama Scrubs as well as her lead role as Tiger in the Hulu comedy series Future Man, and her regular role as Hannah Wyland in Quantico. In 2022, she starred in Fox's comedy Pivoting. In the past, she played as a character in the Netflix series Murderville episode titled Who killed Santa.After college, Coupe took classes in comedy improvisation at The Groundlings and ImprovOlympic. In 2003 she went on tour France as a soldier for the all-female version King Lear. Her one-woman show, The Patriots (a sketch show written by her) premiered in November 2005 at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She won the Breakout Performer Award at HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado in March 2006. Coupe was engaged from December 2007 through June 2013 to Randall Whittinghill (acting teacher, puppeteer). She announced her engagement to Darin Oliveren via Instagram on November 27 the 27th of November, 2014. The couple was married on December 24, 2014 while on holiday in New Zealand. They filed for divorce in 2018. From April 2011 until May 2013, Coupe was a part of Elisha Cuthbert and Zachary Knighton on ABC's ensemble comedy program Happy Endings. Despite widespread praise and a fan base, the show was cancelled by ABC after it concluded the third season on May 3 in 2013. Following the time that Happy Endings was cancelled, she was a regular character in the final season of House of Lies. She was also on the show with Jay Harrington on the comedy series Benched. It debuted on October 28, 2014. Later, she starred as Hannah Wyland, the FBI agent in Quantico on ABC.
