tito ortiz-1Jacob Christopher is an American mixed martial artist and politician. He is currently signed to the Combate Americas promotion. [2] Ortiz is most well-known for his involvement with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and, as a former Light Heavyweight Champion and holding the title from April 14, 2001 to September 26, 2003, he was the Light Heavyweight Champion. He was one of the early champions of the sport alongside fighters like Randy Couture or Chuck Liddell. Ortiz was the most lucrative pay-per- viewing draw in 2006 thanks to his battles with Forrest Griffin and Ken Shamrock.
