Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian, TV host and actor best known for hosting the popular daytime talk show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas was raised in Arkansas among Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes from the same family which has experienced a lot of problems. Sheryl spent most of her childhood taking care of her sister Frankie with polio. As a teenager, she experienced many issues with her mother. Sheryl said she was once told that her mother attacked the father of her child as she was too closer to the father. Sheryl was a soldier after she graduated from the college. Her passion was comedy. In 1989, she was the first woman to reach the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. Her TV career began in 1992 as a actor on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. She hosted a show on television for the 2000 season of Oh Drama! In 2011, she began hosting as a co-host of The Talk, a talk show. The Talk. She also has fictional roles in shows like Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
